Action For Kids Beach Volleyball Championships

he fifth annual Action For Kids Beach Volleyball Championships will be hosted at Wood Wharf for the first time when 160 tonnes of sand will transform the waterfront area into two beach volleyball courts and a sitting volleyball court. Following Beach Volleyball’s success at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, the event allows Londoners to try it out for themselves by entering a team into the Championships or take part in a taster session.
2012 GB Olympians Shauna Mullin and Zara Dampney, and Paralympic GB Sitting Volleyball Captain Rob Richardson, will be among those showing off their skills in exhibition matches and qualified coaches will provide coaching, hints and tips.

In return for aiming to raise £2,500 for Action For Kids in our Corporate Tournament, teams of five or more people are guaranteed at least four games of beach volleyball, two hours of coaching from qualified Volleyball England coaches, entry into the sitting volleyball tournament, lunch on the day, a goodie bag, and a company profile in the event brochure.
