The Times bfi London Film Festival is Europe's largest public film event. A two-week celebration of cinema, the Festival will run from 19 October - 3 November 2005 and takes place at numerous venues across London.
With more than 20 screenings and special events to choose from every day, you'll be able to see films before they go on general release, attend galas and Screen Talks with famous directors and actors, or take part in movie workshops and events. This is the capital's most exciting and diverse film event.
Booking opens on Thursday 6 October, but visit the official webiste below and subscribe to the free Festival email bulletin for a 24-hour head start and book online from Wednesday 5 October.
This year's festival includes work from directors including Fernando Meirelles; George Clooney; Michael Winterbottom; Atom Egoyan; Steven Soderbergh and Takeshi Kitano and performances from actors such as Ralph Fiennes; Joaquin Phoenix; Juliet Binoche and Kirsten Dunst; with many of the film-makers and stars making personal appearances.
